Camden, New Jersey, emcee Sweet Da Kid dropped Your Mother’s Other Son last week, and even if we missed it by a couple days, that doesn’t mean the heat isn’t there.
Spanning six tracks, the free EP contains production from Salaam Remi, who is Da Kid’s mentor, Key Wane and 5Star Beatz as well as a feature on the project’s first track, “I’m Reloaded,” with Pain In Da Ass. (That’s a really awesome name.) The entire project isn’t nearly as aggressive sonically as the first track may imply, but necessary passion and, at times, ease is there.
