Dayton emcee sarob. is gearing up to release the down. in the coming months in between semester studying at Oxford, and recently, the emcee/singer dropped the intro and outro to the upcoming project as one whole track on SoundCloud called “Annex/Taxes.”

The first half, produced by Afrozip (shout out to those whipping drums), explores sarob.’s sensual half, explaining he doesn’t have a type, but she matches his wavelengths, so they’re a good fit. The outro of the album, though, seems to take a more aggressive tone, saying that he’s already got a girl, but he could do with another. His dad wasn’t there for him, so he’s gotta be there for himself. the change in tone over these two quick tracks seems to show the change in character over sarob.’s upcoming project, and how that plays out will be fun to see —  especially over the solid production he enlisted for “Annex/Taxes.”
