Man, I am so fucking ready for this.
The teaser trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s 8th official feature-length film The Hateful Eight was released today, and if simply the fact Tarantino is coming out with another film didn’t have you geeked enough, the trailer will.
The movie stars Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russell among an all-star cast of frequent Tarantino collaborators like Tim Roth, Michael Madsen and Walton Goggins. The film will follow-up 2012’s Django Unchained and 2010’s Inglorious Bastards and follow a similar time period and genre as the former — a Western set around Civil War time.
The Hateful Eight comes on Christmas, the same day as The Revenant (Alejandro G. Iñarritu, Leonardo Dicaprio) and a week after Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in 70mm film and will be released nationally on January 8.
