The Roots crew’s very own, and uncommonly underrated Dice Raw marks his return with a brand new sobering single fittingly entitled “Trouble.”
Quick Draw and Philly’s own Tiani Victoria open up and spin real life tales and experiences of the Black Man incarcerated over haunting, minimal production. The melancholic tune appears on Dice’s The Last Jimmy soundtrack – a Hip-Hop musical / stage play inspired by both Dice’s 2013 LP Jimmy’s Back and civil rights activist/writer Dr. Michelle Alexander’s book The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness.
