Sometime last week, I woke up to find a new song, “100,” from Milwaukee’s BankX scrolling on my Twitter feed only to check SoundCloud and find the song was deleted. I was excited to see how the emcee followed up “Weekend6,” but had to hold off. Today, though, we finally get a song with “Swish,” where BankX channels his best Jabari Parker and PND for “Swish.”
Over drugged-out, droopy production from XYZ, BankX does his best crossovers and fade-aways, stunting on all the competition letting them know he’s “swish, swish, ballin’ on ’em.” We’re looking forward to seeing BankX develop his sound, and for the time being, he’s making enjoyable tunes easy to vibe to.
