Since releasing his Between Heaven and Hell mixtape back in 2013, Add-2 has stayed relatively quiet – with appearances on select tracks alongside BJ the Chicago Kid, Nitty Scott, a fresh take on J. Cole’s “Tale of Two Citiez” and two videos being his only output. The radio silence is officially over though, as the Chicago emcee has returned with the massive lead single off his upcoming JAMLA debut, Prey For The Poor, due out September 4th.

Joined by label mate Rapsody – who is fresh off her Beauty & The Beast EP and a stellar appearance on Kendrick’s To Pimp A Butterfly) – the two showcase their lyrical dexterity on “Stop Play Rewind,” with Add-2 reminding us of his quick wit and range in various flows. Khrysis is on the boards (with the heat), and the energetic record will have you acting out the song’s title in no time.

Press play on the 2Dope premiere of “Stop Play Rewind” below, and pre-order Prey For the Poor on iTunes.
