Seeming to catch things about two or three weeks after they’re hot, Philadelphia legend Beanie Sigel gave his thoughts on the Drake/Meek Mill situation that occurred at the end of July and beginning of August. The beef essentially ended when Drake released “Back to Back,” a song that eventually climbed Billboard’s Hot 100 charts as a single when it was intended as a diss.
Anyway, Beanie started his thoughts calling out the city he’s from, mentioning how its inhabitants quickly abandoned Meek.
Beanie called the situation “gay.” He summarized it much better later on in the post, questioning why Meek Mill even cared if Drake wrote his own rhymes. He said he’s still going to bump Drake with that knowledge or not, saying, “nobody cares point blank.” Beanie fears someone is going to die over this, once again, “gay shit,” and that he thinks AR-AB shouldn’t destroy his relationship with Meek out of anger. He followed by telling Meek he needs to tighten his circle, closing with a Jay Z quote: “Gangsters fuck up. … It’s a lesson learned even in defeat!”
Dude just love his city, apparently. Check the post below.
