Lana Del Rey is one of those special ones. And by “special,” I mean “now y’all f*cking with the wrong mummafunka.” I mean, her last two albums were called Born to Die and Ultraviolence, respectively. And have you seen her last video, ““High By The Beach?” She shot a helicopter out of the sky with the type of gun gun you only see in Michael Bay films.
As an aside, can we please stop Michael Bay from ruining our childhoods? Transformers and the Ninja Turtles were bad enough, man… but I digress.
Anyways, Lana returns with a new offering from her upcoming album Honeymoon, a haunting ballad about heartbreak and loss. Or, that is her trademark: emotionally powerful songs that gives a bit of insight as to why she’s always ready for war. Who knew that something so dainty could be so deadly?
