Former G.O.O.D. Music emcee Consequence is gearing up for the release of his A Good Comeback Story LP set to drop by the end of the year. To hold us over, the NYC native unveils “When I Wanna,” a self-produced single with production that Consequence claims he’s been waiting for his “whole career,” according to his SoundCloud. He shared that he’d wanted a beat like the one on “When I Wanna” from a “super producer” his whole life, but he found a way to make it with Mike Cash. Seems like he was waiting on Kanye or another G.O.O.D. Music affiliate to give him heat, but he never got it. Good on ya, Consequence.
