Texas emcee Buffalo Black is getting ready to drop his new LP, SURRILLA, at the end of the week, and as we prepare for it to drop, we get what we assume is the final sound pre-release with “Mind/Matter” featuring Mickey Factz.
Following “1984” and “Anomalies,” Buffalo Black comes with a heavy, head-shaking track following the tribulations of a black man in America. “Mind/Matter” revolves around the necessity of keeping your head high and shielding out the bullshit the world throws at you. The production on the song is stellar, with strong tribal influences with its deep, rolling drums. These are the kinda of tracks that get people’s ears wanting another song.
