The feature of trumpeter Donnie Trumpet on Mike Golden’s “No More” caught my attention, and I’m glad it did, because Golden’s new song is amazing. Golden featured on one of my favorite songs off The Social Experiment’s Surf, “Go,” and it became one of the more enjoyable listens because of the Chicago singer’s performance on the first verse. The wonderful voice carries over on the new single.

Golden is tired of his love on “No More” — a feeling anyone in some sort of extended relationship has felt before. After a long day of work, Golden is welcomed by an unappreciative lover, and dude’s had enough. “I don’t need to waste my time no more,” he says. Singing seems to come to this dude effortlessly, and I’m glad he has a single that came across my radar.

“No More” will land on the signer’s upcoming project, Golden, which doesn’t have a release date yet. Listen to the new song below.
