A Chicago originator, Sir Michael Rocks is an ever-evolving artist. As one-half of The Cool Kids (with Chuck Inglish), the former Mikey Rocks helped usher in a then-new sound whose influence still remains today. Since breaking out on his own (and during a stint with Curren$y‘s Jet Life crew), he’s released a variety of well-received and acclaimed projects.
He’s now released his latest project, Populair, completing the bookend of his Banco Populair. In a contrast to its predecessor, Populair boasts no features and has Michael rolling solo throughout his new project’s eight tracks. While the project is slated to officially arrive September 11th (pre-order on iTunes now), fans can listen to the project in its entirety below.
