Shortly after delivering a solid presentation under the guise of a new solo album titled Gold Standard, proud North Carolinian emcee Supastition returns with the politically charged single “Black Bodies.”

The soulful backdrop provided by producer Praise features enough open canvas for Supastition to paint his progressive, revolutionary ideals about police brutality and “America’s lack of accountability when it comes to African-American deaths” – a powerful oration that will hopefully spark a cultural reformation.

Sonically, “Black Bodies” evokes the same feelings I got upon hearing Strange Fruit Project’s “Get Live” for the first time.
