Drake, Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole Lead 2015 BET Hip Hop Award Nominations

blame it on Meka September 15, 2015

Who would have thought that BET’s annual Hip Hop Awards would have lasted a decade? That’s twice as long as the VIBE Awards, and more than that as the Ozone Awards, and those didn’t have nearly the violence as the former. Seriously, it feels that at every rap award someone is either getting arrested, robbed, stabbed, beat up, or worse. Nonetheless, the tenth annual installment of BET’s annual Atlanta Fry Fest will go down on October 13th, but they’ve unveiled all of the nominees.

With Drake, once again, leading all the nominees with a total of 12 nods, Big Sean is right behind with 10 nominations. Other multiple nominees include Kendrick Lamar (with nine), J. Cole (seven) and Future (five, with three mixtapes nominated in one category alone). Check out the full list below.
