Dee Goodz – “Cutlass Supreme” (Video)

Question: what it/was your dream car in high school? Mine was my neighbor’s mint-condition 1964 cherry-red Ford Mustang that he had owned as a teenager and had given to his own son during his high school years (that’s gotta be one of the G.O.A.T. hand-me-downs in history). I would have committed many a cardinal sin for that car (and, to this day, I still would), but I’m digressing. Dee Goodz‘ favorite car, however was the Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme…

“A Cutlass Supreme is a nostalgic car in the south, one of my close friends had one in high school. That was the first car I got some shine off. In the song, I’m expressing all of the new things happening to me in life while chasing my dream in music. All of the things that people find cool today in pop culture are things that kids like myself grew up doing organically.”

Better later than never, as he whips around town in one throughout the video for his latest single from his 2014 album Family, Friends, and Money, which can be checked out up top.
