Mick Jenkins – “HeadAss (Vic Spencer Diss)” (prod. Kaytranada)

So last week, Vic Spencer released a diss track, “Dick Jerkins,” aimed at Mick Jenkins after Mick came at him for talking down about a venue and a certain crowd of people in Chicago.

I mean, Vic went in on his diss, but dear God, Mick just went ALL the way in.

On “HeadAss,” Mick starts with Vic Spencer’s video quality and writing abilities. He accused Vic of having people write for him (“it’s like you read off cue cards”), before saying Vic only released his diss for publicity (“I could’ve retweeted all the comments under every post, at this point responding to you is just doing the most”), and finishing it off by saying even though Vic is 10 years his senior, Mick is “way more plugged than your ‘creative outlet’.” Essentially, Mick Jenkins is asking Vic Spencer, regarding his accusations, “Why you always lyin’?”

This beef isn’t going to get anywhere the attention Drake/Meek Mill got, but this is the kind of beef people wanted – no holds barred. Listen to “HeadAss,” which features subtle production from Kaytranada, below.

Welp…
