With every James Bond film comes a climactic theme song. With Skyfall‘s theme going to Adele, the upcoming Spectre has its theme song going to another popular Brit-pop artist, Sam Smith. The theme, “Writing’s On The Wall,” follows the usual orchestral and tension-building process a Bond film needs, as Smith threatens of the “writing on the wall” in Bond’s relationships and dealings.
Spectre is out November 6. Go grab “Writing’s On The Wall” on iTunes, and stream the single below. It’s no “Skyfall,” but it’s worth a listen.
