The first time I heard Manolo Rose and his breakout hit “Run Ricky Run!,” I’m not gonna front: I thought the chances of the Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn rapper falling into the dreaded “one-hit-wonder” pit of doom were high.
Then, he followed up the Fame School Slim-produced single with “Super Flexin,” secured a feature here and there and finally served up his Concrete Rose mixtape.
Following on the heels of said mixtape, Manolo returns with Fame School Slim once again for “Dope In My Blood.” Expect this new song to appear on the upcoming A3C Volume 5 compilation.
