Because of some disparaging words Vic Spencer made about a popular venue in Chicago, Mick Jenkins – who felt slighted by the comments – let his feelings be known about Vic on everybody’s favorite social media platform, Twitter. This prompted Vic to respond in the form of a song, “Dick Jerkins,” which made Mick respond in the form of “HeadAss.” Now, Vic is back with the latest aural volley.
Calling this “music to be buried by,” Vic uses three different beats to take aim at Mick’s penchant for using water metaphors, his voice, his hair, his mom and his cousin too. While I’m here for the back-and-forth volleys (it felt like the entire summer of 2015 was dedicated to beef), let’s hope it remains on wax… unless someone get tossed off their own stage in the same manner Prince Be did when KRS-One came for a visit.
