Shortly after the temperatures began to rise, Jadakiss followed his lyrical countryman Fabolous and launched into a Friday freestyle series. While the drops were short-lived (Fab did an entire mixtape’s worth of raps, while Jada did eight), he recently revisited his ways with an… interesting take on Drake’s “Hotline Bling.”
Jada drops off a new installment in the seemingly-renewed #T5DOA drops, linking with Dice Payne for “Baby.” There’s nothing soft about this song, however; Scram Jones re-works a vintage Mary J Blige sample to accompany the sparse backdrop, while Jada and Dice offer some of the most soulful-sounding death threats you’ll hear this week.
