The Game’s ‘The Documentary 2’ Is Out Now, And It Bangs!

blame it on Shake October 8, 2015

Since breaking out in 2005 with his debut album, The Documentary, The Game has remained a fixture in, well… the game. Through the ups-and-downs, from steadily dropping high-quality albums to beefing with just about everybody, he’s managed to keep his name ringing for a decade straight. No matter what your opinion might be on him as a person, you’ve gotta respect the hustle and dedication.

Now, after countless delays and setbacks, The Game delivers the official sequel, The Documentary 2. Available on iTunes, the 19-track release features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Ab-Soul, Future, Kanye West, Dej Loaf, and a few others – with production from Bongo The Drum Gahd, DJ Premier, Dr. Dre (?), Mike WiLL Made It,, Jahlil Beats, and more.

Are their name-drops? Of course. Does it matter? Not really. I mean, when you’re spitting this hard and proving you’re a true student of the game, why should it? The Game can rap – simple as that.
