In the middle of September, Stones Throw quietly released an EP of remixes from multiple producers of two Tuxedo (Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One) songs, “The Right Time” and “Watch the Dance.” One of the producers was up-and-comer Kaytranada, and his spacious, groovy remix, which was co-produced by BADBADNOTGOOD, now has a claymation visual treatment.
As the clay versions of Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One travel through space, they’re sucked into a black green hole and spit out into an industrial, other-worldly environment before the visual comes to an ominous close.
