I knew that Coke Boys and Zoo Gang collaboration, “Freaky,” which dropped last week, would lead to something.

Titled Coke Zoo, French Montana revealed the plans to do a mixtape with Fetty Wap to Billboard, where he said, “we’re both from the East — I feel like it’s big for our culture.” French Montana is from New York, and the Zoo Gang (Fetty Wap, Monty) are from New Jersey, so the link is pretty close.

Earlier in the year, French and Fetty joined on the “Trap Queen” remix, and as Billboard pointed out, the remix happened before “Trap Queen” blew up this summer.

French told Billboard the idea came about while he and Fetty were on tour with Chris Brown. He said, “I’m excited to work with Fetty — I just feel like he has this new energy, I’d never heard nobody like that. He brings a different style to the game. I always feel like when two artists come together, put their sounds together, magic comes out of it.”

There’s no release date for Coke Zoo, just yet, but you’ll know where to find it when it finally comes…
