Man, 1994 was an insane year for Hip-Hop. Just off the top of my head, you had Nas’ Illmatic, Method Man’s Tical, Biggie’s Ready To Die, Outkast’s Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, Warren G’s Regulate…G Funk Era, and Redman’s Dare Iz A Parkside all hit the shelves within a 12-month span.* And over two decades later, these same albums are still inspiring the new artists of today.

One of those artists is Jonah Cruzz, who managed to stop thirstin’ over “DIANA” long enough to mix a little of that southern playalistic cadillac muzik with some G-Funk on his new single, “Cruzz Control.”

Vibe out to the ATLien’s new joint below, and be on the lookout for his upcoming project – the official follow-up to his Ordinary N*gga EP we premiered late last year.

* The Roots, Bone Thugs, Common, and countless others also released projects worth noting, but my brain is fried at the moment.
