Ta-ku & Blu – “Everyday”

Jakarta Records has released some incredibly solid compilations over the last year matching the season it’s released in with Winter In Jakarta and Summer in Jakarta. Entering autumn, the record label is set to release another compilation, this time celebrating their 10 years as a label with Autumn in Jakarta. Today, we get the first song from the project — a collaboration between Ta-ku and Blu called “Everyday.”

According to the label, this song was supposed to be released on a Ta-ku project that was going to be released through Jakarta, but it never happened. This sounds a little like it was recorded around the Good To Be Home era Blu, with him spitting two long verses full of passion, imagery with a bravado that Blu definitely was stunting when he was rapping about coming home.

Autumn in Jakarta is set to release sometime in mid-November, so stay tuned for more amazing cuts. Listen to “Everyday” below.
