It’s been quite the week for D.R.A.M. – to say the least. After teaming up with SZA on “Caretaker,” the VA native made his way up north and performed in Toronto for the first time. And that’s where things got crazy…
Instead of enjoying his first performance in the country, D.R.A.M. was dealing with an endless flood of “Cha Cha” x “Hotline Bling” comparisons. The bittersweet feeling led to a few Twitter posts saying he felt Drake jacked him for his record, but that he was GOOD with it. Drake tried to explain, but his words really didn’t hold any weight. I mean, how hard is it to say you were influenced by a song?
