Fall Out Boy, the band/soundtrack to my angsty high school years, is planning on remixing their American Beauty/American Psycho LP and releasing it on October 30. One of the album’s lead singles, “Irresistible,” is getting the remix treatment featuring Migos and production from Zaytoven.

This is an interesting concept, and I don’t know how comfortable I am with it. Fall Out Boy’s remix album will feature Azaelia Banks, Big K.R.I.T., Wiz Khalifa, iLoveMakonnen, OG Maco and more. The band, though, has worked with rappers in the past. Jay Z appeared on the first song off their Infinity On High LP (which was followed by a song named after a famous Jay Z line, “The Take Over, The Breaks Over“), and Lil Wayne appeared on Foile A Duex.

I’ll probably enjoy the hell out of this once all the remixes come out. The band has had a pretty good grip on their stance within pop culture — I just don’t want a whole album of remixes to be overkill.
