Even though it made its original debut in 2014 (and landed on the DopeHouse’s “Best Of” lists), the deluxe edition of the collaborative effort from DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9″ does have us hyped over here. With good reason, too; the duo recently dropped a seven-minute version of their PRhyme highlight “Mode,” complete with new lyrics. And while the updated version of the album isn’t slated to arrive until later this year, the duo satiate their rabid fanbase with another updated offering: the full version of their teaser clip for “Courtesy,” which dropped a year ago.
Continuing their “broken down car” adventures, the caped crusaders find themselves in a boat and in the company of a pair of vixens. Yes, even independent/underground rappers can land some hotties in their music videos too. Either way, expect the deluxe edition of PRhyme to arrive sooner than later.
