Since signing to Roc Nation in 2015, Chicago’s Vic Mensa has remained largely quiet while working on his forthcoming album Traffic. Despite this, he has popped up in recent months to deliver quality freestyles or one-off songs. After linking with producer Young Chop for “Around My Way” he returns with a new freeverse, “Married With The King.”
Produced by Deputy, Vic spends the near-three minutes of the song updating fans on what’s he’s been up to, giving a sly nod to Denzel Curry and basically rapping his head off. While there may not be any signs of Traffic in the near future, Vic will make sure that his fans are taken care of for the time being.
