Khary – “Ambidextrous” (Video)

blame it on Patrick Glynn October 27, 2015

Khary, who has now dropped the last name “Durgans” from his rap name, unveils the video for “Ambidextrous,” a zany single released over the summer.

Sexual undertones aside, the whole idea of Khary’s Tedd Boyd-produced single is that you can give him any sort of beat, and he can handle it. At least that’s what I caught from it. “I can use my right, I can use my left, I don’t need no fucking help,” he spits. It’s only right that on the day the greatest sports league in the world, the National Basketball Association, returns, we get reminded of a song with as much bravado as the players themselves should have when they’re on the court. LeBron James? Michael Jordan? Steph Curry? James Harden? Russell “THE GOAT” Westbrook? They’d all agree with the hook of this tune.

Featuring the yellow coat we’ve seen Khary sport in some of his recent videos, he brings high energy to the streets and rooftops of New York. He told The FADER, who premiered the video, “I’ve recently dropped my last name off my moniker, started a collective with my friends, and twisted my hair so I wanted to capture this moment. It’s the beginning of my career.”

Good luck, Khary. Keep it grinding.
