It could be argued that Mike Dean is one of the most influential hip hop producers of all time. One of the trailblazers for what is known as the Dirty South sound, in recent years Dean has lent his talents to various G.O.O.D. Music artists including Travi$ Scott and Kanye West, and you’re likely to catch him providing keyboard work during Travi$’ live sets.
Mike was a contributor to The Weeknd‘s top-selling album Beauty Behind the Madness, co-producing “Tell Your Friends” with Che Pope, Kanye and Illangelo. He has now returned to the song, adding an “extended ending” to Kanye’s version “When I See It.” Loaded with lush guitars and his signature murky piano keys, the instrumental can be heard below.
