British singer Maverick Sabre has stayed in the corner of my eye since I first heard the second single from Innerstanding, “Come Fly Away.” It wasn’t the first time he appeared on the DopeHouse, as he has worked with Joey Bada$$ on the first single, “We Don’t Wanna Be,” but the second single off his now-released Innerstanding put me on to his booming, raspy Brit-pop sound.
The full album is out now, and it’s available to stream on Spotify and download on iTunes. it’ll be fun to see how well Maverick translates over to the states, and Innerstanding is the first step in doing so.
