Original post…

Originally leaked months back, Ty Dolla $ign’s “L.A.” with Kendrick Lamar has finally been released in its final form.

Dedicated to his hometown, the intro track off Ty Dolla’s upcoming Free TC album (11/13) also features contributions from Brandy and James Fauntleroy. The CDQ will arrive later tonight, but for now, Big Boy’s Neighborhood has us locked with the premiere…

Produced by D’Mile, Chordz and Ty Dolla $ign – talkbox by DJ Battlecat. Pre-order Free TC on iTunes.

In related Ty$ news, Ty was a part of Los Angeles-reared clothing brand Popular Demand‘s inaugural billboard campaign.

Popular Demand’s decision to have Ty be the first feature was no coincidence – Ty has been a part of the PD family since the beginning and both have shown a tremendous amount of growth in the past couple of years.

“To be able to put out our first billboard campaign with a friend and incredible talent like Ty Dolla $ign is an amazing opportunity for an independent brand like ours. This was a true collaboration,” stated Popular Demand Founder & CEO, Blake Ricciardi.

Popular Demand continues to exemplify their ‘No Apologies’ attitude with the billboard visuals featuring Ty himself draped in models Jessica Cribbon, Dylan Fitzpatrick, and Natalie Wolf. Not surprisingly, the billboard artwork was rejected five times before the corporate heads could finally come to an agreement with Popular Demand, stating repeatedly that the images were “too revealing and risqué”.
