Love him or hate him, but Big Sean has had quite an incredible run this year. From releasing his critically acclaimed third studio album Dark Sky Paradise (which is now certified gold), teaming up with adidas for the One Man Can Change Detroit short film, getting his own Marvel variant cover, to being tapped to remix one of the year’s biggest singles and engaging in wonderful acts of philanthropy. Sean is winning.

Everything seemed to come full circle for the G.O.O.D. Music emcee when he returned to his home state of Detroit, Michigan last night. Sean wrapped up his phenomenal year with his Finding Paradise show, with all proceeds being donated to the Sean Anderson Foundation.

The night’s festivities brought out collaborators Jhené Aiko, Lil Wayne, Mike Posner and Dej Loaf.

However, the show’s climax arrived when Sean brought out Eminem, Danny Brown, Royce Da 5’9″, Dej Loaf and Trick Trick for a live performance of “Detroit vs. Everybody” – with the entire Joe Louis Arena exploding with an intense energy. The roller-coaster-ride-of-a-show concluded with Sean performing the poignant “One Man Can Change the World.”
