NorCal Nick, formerly known has Swerve 916, is set to drop an EP with Blu, and today we get the first sound from When The Future Finds The Past It Will Sound Like This with “Stoned” featuring Rav.P & Awon with production from the Cali legend.
If a song is called “Stoned,” it’s pretty apparent what type of vibe the lyrics will follow and the three emcees who spit on simplistic production, drum-and-sample-centric don’t stray from the norm. If the song had gone on another minute, I wouldn’t have been surprised if Asher Roth laid some bars, which would’ve fit right into the smokers vibe.
