As the seasons change, so have the sound waves of music. R&B music has morphed from extravagantly produced power ballads to a more minimalist sonics. As such, artists like Bryson Tiller, Kehlani and Tory Lanez and PARTYNEXTDOOR have built their careers on this lo-fi sound, with each attaining various levels of success.
Indiana-to-California upstart Y.E. Ali also encompasses that sound as well. The Trap House Jodeci caught the DopeHouse’s attention with his offering “Tingz,” followed by the lust-happy “Thigh Kisser” (and its chopped-and-screwed incarnation). As he continues to work on his forthcoming project Private Suite 2, Ali has revealed a new track ahead of its release. A simple ode to the buxom ladies of the gentlemen’s club scene, it’s a short-but-sweet care package that only heightens expectations for Y.E. Ali’s Private Suite 2.
