Last week, the New York-born CHCKLK debuted “Young Boy,” a self-reflective tune discussing the good and bad (okay, mostly bad) decisions he’s made that led him to turning to music as a way to escape his neighborhood. Today, the singer released an ominous video to match the darker tones of the song.
The first two minutes feature a young man stumbling his way through the streets after seemingly being shot before collapsing in a parking garage. After being dragged down the street by women (which I assume resemble some sort of angels of death), the young man looks up and seems to see a younger version of himself, realizing he let down the talented, youthful version of himself.
