It is a known fact that Eminem has cited the lyrical wizardry of Redman as his chief inspiration in many interviews. However, when Reggie was on Shade 45’s All Out Show with Lord Sear a few days ago Marshall took his appreciation (and yes, Stannery) to a personal level.
Surprising his longtime friend, Em called into the show and the two expressed their respective gratitude and appreciation for each other. Marshall would also regal a story on how he – during his time with New Jersey crew The Outsidaz – still has a picture of him visiting Redman’s home. Yes, the legendary MTV Cribs house. It’s definitely a heart-warming moment to hear two musicians talk about each other in a complimentary manner without sending or receiving unwarranted snide remarks as well. I’m looking at you two, Metro Boomin and Young Thug.
