Logic is one of the more polarizing rappers in the hip-hop world. He’s developed a decent following (his debut album, Under Pressure, has sold over 300,000 copies in a year), but there’s a big debate out there on how original the man is.

At the beginning of September, the rapper from Maryland announced he’d be releasing his second album in as many years by the end of 2015. Following it up a couple weeks later with the first single, the wild, insanely fun listen, “Young Jesus” featuring Big Lenbo. And now, after holding fans over with “Like Woah” and “Fade Away,” here we are with Logic’s sophomore effort, The Incredible True Story.

The album stands at 18 songs, nearly half of which are produced by Logic himself, with minimal features. After Big Lenbo starred on “Young Jesus,” Jesse Boykins III, Dria and Lucy Rose round out the guest spots. I have no doubt his new effort will sell more than Under Pressure did in its first week (70,000), but we’ll see how Logic does entertaining with his incredible, true story.
