Blu & Klaus Layer Invite “The Boys” In Blue To Come Out

blame it on JES7 November 15, 2015

The original version of Blu and the homie K-Def‘s “The Boys” was released as a part of “a collection of rarities and unheard tracks from the vaults…” that have been collecting dust on formats ranging from acetates, cassette tapes, DATs and even the always reliable floppy discs. You remember those? No. No you don’t. Stop lying.

Anyway, German producer Klaus Layer has decided to put his kaleidoscopic spin on the song, using his signature “stuttering / fluttering drums and organic samples weave themselves in and out of the dreamlike mix.”
