The last installment of OVO Sound Radio featuring DJ Khaled, will, surprisingly go down as one of the better episodes since the series’ inaugural launch. To be honest, I wasn’t paying much attention while covering the show. It was only when Meka hit me with a text letting me know that Khaled was going in that I decided to tune in; still weary that he might have been trolling me. I was wrong, and that proverbial arrow on my “I-Really-Hate-DJ-Khaled” chart dropped. A little.
Episode 10 of OVO Sound Radio was helmed by a special guest mix from French producer Steven Vidal (also known as Stwo) who has racked up production and remix credits for the likes of The Weeknd, Majid Jordan, Banks, Kehlani and more. During his set, Stwo premiered “Tales” from Jazz Cartier. For more info on Stwo, check out his interview with High Snobiety.
Also on deck was Drake’s DJ and manager, Future the Prince who played an interesting variety that spanned the likes of JAY Z, Scarface, The Diplomats, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Scarface, NaS, the Clipse and more. Listen to it by hitting this link; keep it locked for a streaming embed.
