As he gears up to finally release his new project, goldUn Child, on November 19th, both brandUn DeShay and the DopeHouse have been revealing a series of B-sides that were slated to make the project yet ultimately did not. As he has been working on the project – as well as with other artists – in the years since his last official project Your Favorite Mixtape 2, he has amassed a dense catalogue of unreleased works: “It’s goldUn,” “The Break Up/Break Down,” and “Creepin’” are just some of these tracks.

Today branDun drops another song, “GLOin’ UP,” which is co-produced by Richmond, VA talent Don Kevo. The slow-bouncing track is loosely based on brandUn’s admiration for fellow Chicagoan Kanye West, and while it was slated to actually make goldUn Child he tells the DopeHouse he ultimately left it on the cutting room floor as “I already have enough of this feel” for the final product. Listen to “GLOin’ UP” below.
