Snakehips – “All My Friends” f. Tinashe & Chance the Rapper (Video)

The UK-reared production duo Snakehips scooped up both Tinashe and Chance the Rapper for their formal introduction at the DopeHouse, “All My Friends.” While normally comfortable within the confines of electronic music, Snakehips have crafted a well-meaning track about the wonders of binge-drinking and partying until the sun rises that can reverberate within the urban entertainment crowd as well.

The single now has a matching set of visuals. Set amongst the backdrop of the Los Angeles nightlife, the Tinashe-led video (Chance, unfortunately, does not make an appearance) follows the songstress from the rooftop of a nondescript building to the packed line of a nightclub. The line is loaded with the typical amenities: drunk patrons passing out in the middle of the street, drunk patrons making out, drunk patrons fighting, drunk patrons throwing up, all the while getting curved by the club’s over-zealous doorman. It makes one wonder why people go through these things all in the name of a good time, which could explain why Tinashe simply drives past it all instead of engaging in it. Then again, live fast and die young right?
