Busta Rhymes‘ original version of this song was a rather grandiose affair with both Jadakiss and Lil Wayne riding shotgun while everybody from Tyrese to the guy who starred in Busta’s “kinda-sorta-racist” video for “Arab Money” popped up in the music video. For it’s sequel, Busta and Jada are now joined by fellow 90s revivalist Fabolous and D-Block brother-in-arms Styles P.
Whereas the first one was called “illegal,” “Respect My Conglomerate 2” is a motion picture that should be considered a “warning.” Fortunately, even with
the random accented woman Marsha Ambrosius doing the hook again, the song contains more than enough heat to keep the song afloat. The true MVPs are Jada and Styles, as they employ their trademark “back-and-forth” flow to take over the entire song. Listen below.
