Los Angeles producer TOKiMONSTA links up with DopeHouse favorite Anderson .Paak and fellow Cali producer KRNE for “Put It Down.”
A tune to be played at high volumes, “Put It Down” has .Paak stunting with stock lyrics to keep the verses just as hyped as when the production drops. TOKiMONSTA and .Paak have worked together in the past, including on “Realla,” which appeared on a project the producer put out in 2014. TOKiMONSTA discusses the collaboration with The FADER, who premiered the single. “Anderson .Paak is a friend and an artist I’ve always believed in. Our mutual respect for each other as family and musicians make our collaborations work so well, and “Put it Down” shows a different facet to our collaborations,” she said.
“Put It Down” is the first single off TOKiMONSTA’s upcoming LP, Fovere, which is set to drop January 29.
