2014 was a banner year for ILOVEMAKONNEN. The baby-faced eccentric rose to prominence in after Drake remixed his song “Tuesday,” which ultimately led to Mak landing a deal with OVO Sound and even a Grammy nod for the song. He’s largely stayed out of the bright lights since, instead touring across the country and releasing the fifth installment of his Drink More Water series. After teasing the project in the summer 2015, ILOVEMAKONNEN releases the sequel to his 2014 debut EP with – you guessed it! – ILOVEMAKONNEN 2.
