I met Hil Holla earlier in the summer 2015, where his easygoing and unassuming nature belies his incredible talent in the microphone. Hil would display that flair with his DopeHouse debut, “Back Seat,” and today (November 23rd) the Providence native gives 2DopeBoyz the green light to unveil the visual treatment to the song.
A sly odd to LL Cool J’s 14 Shots to the Dome single, Hil Holla travels throughout his neck of the woods with some of his favorite things: his friends, and his Jeep (no word if the car had the boomin’ system, however). The true treat of the video, however, is the snippet of the untitled song that plays at th end. If the rest of Hil’s forthcoming debut project, Outside Providence, sounds like its initial offerings, then I believe that both fans and newcomers alike will be in for a pleasant surprise.
