While the wait for King Push continues, Pusha T reveals he’s got another album in the stash that he will be releasing next month!
Speaking with Noisey, the cocaine connoisseur announce Darkest Before Dawn—a prelude to King Push—impacting December 18th via GOOD Music.
“I’ve been recording so much—I didn’t want to break up that body of work … I feel like I had the producers doing things that they weren’t usually known for, a little out of their wheelhouse. I wanted to give the fans that body of work. That’s the music I love, and that’s the music that my fans love from me. Instead of having those moments throughout King Push, let’s just separate the game.”
Producers slated to appear on Darkest Before Dawn? Kanye West, Puff Daddy, Pharrell, Timbaland (“Untouchable“), Q-Tip, Baauer, and Hudson Mohawke.
UPDATE: According to the press release, guest features include Kanye West, A$AP Rocky, Jill Scott, Beanie Sigel, The-Dream, and Kehlani.
