While the DopeHouse primarily shines a spotlight on some of today’s top and emerging musical acts, we do not shy away from other talents who contribute to the hp hop culture and community as well. Case in point: Boston-based Frank “The Butcher” Rivera. The Boston-based magnate has been a longtime staple in his hometown, well-known in worldwide style circles as an appreciated sneaker aficionado (and collaborator, as he has worked with adidas for a capsule collection), fashion entrepreneur and creative director. He has also contributed to the rap world as well, producing for both new jacks and established stars like Maffew Ragazino, Royce Da 5’9″ and Avenue.

Frank has recently collaborated with PUMA on a new capsule collection, “Eat What You Kill.” Frank explains the them of his collection as a means of speaking to the youth to grab life by the proverbial horns and get what’s there for the taking. For the second episode of the 2DopeBoyz’ A Day In The Life With… our cameras follow Frank throughout the day of his line’s release event. Follow Frank as he spends the day preparing for its debut at Puma’s Boston storefront, speaking on the path he’s taken to get to where he is, and much more. You’ll get familiar with what makes motivates Frank, and hopefully you can take his lessons to power your own drive to success.

Executive produced and directed by where’s nasty for Silence Creative. Shot by CBNOne Films and Lift Off Productions. Edited by CBNone Films.

Listen to Frank’s recent collaboration with Killer Mike, “EWYK,” as well.
