Kansas City producer D/WILL is known for taking cues from nostalgia-inducing television shows from the 90s and incorporating them into his multi-layered instrumentals. A fan of the classic sit-com Martin (seriously, who isn’t a fan of the series? Show me someone who didn’t like the show, excluding the much-maligned fifth and final season, and I’ll show you a person who sleeps with the enemy), WILL has blended the show into his latest instrumental project Damn, Gina!

Playing as “an ode to a friend and to all who have lost a love one,” the nine-track tape is a smooth break from life if not a mental vacation from one’s entire world. The standout, however, is the Andrew Mcghie-guested “HustleMan Wit A Kazoo,” where Mcghie’s saxophone meshes perfectly with D/WILL’s jazzy backdrop. Listen to Damn, Gina! below, and let your mind temporarily escape itself.
